Ginetta G40 Championship
Sportscar racing for drivers aged between 14 and 17 years old.
The Ginetta Junior Championship was introduced in 2005 and was one of the first championships to cater for drivers wishing to move away from karts at the age of 14 and progress into cars, racing on Internationally-acclaimed racing circuits.
The Championship for racers aged 14 - 17 year olds acts as a natural progression from karting and allows drivers to experience sportscar dynamics.
2008 saw the intorduction of the Ginetta Junior Championship to the British Touring Cars Championship support bill.
The quality of racing and mature attitude of the young racers has led to an extension of the contract to 2011.
Performing in front of crowds commonly exceeding 30,000 people, the Championship benefits from live lTV4 coverage (when schedules allow) and dedicated coverage on Motorsport UK - aired on ITV1, ITV4 and Men and Motors TV channels.
