race 1
There was drama as the closely packed field stormed into the tight right-hander at Clervaux. Tony Gilham and Derek Pierce made contact and spun into the infield. Rob Lawson had to race hard in the early laps to fend off Ollie Jackson in the battle for pro-am1 victory. "Glynn Geddie had a moment at the first corner and handed the lead of pro-am1 to me," said Lawson. "Then I just had to look after my tyres," said the local racer after his fifth pro-am1 win.

Although the cars initially went to the grid on slicks, the rain arrived in time for everyone to switch to wets for a shortened 12-lap race.
Behind Harvey in 4th overall, Lawson (JHR) drove a fine race to complete a pro-am1 double on his home track. "I couldn't see anything! There was standing water at Tower," said Lawson after a performance that clinched the 'driver of the weekend' award.

A packed crowd both at the circuit and watching live on ITV4, waited in anticipation for lights to go out for the start of the 12-lap race. Glew made the better start to lead the field into Clervaux with MacDowall in second and Hodgetts moving into third from fifth on the grid.
After a disappointing race in round nine, JHR Development’s Andrew Herron – currently third in the drivers’ standings – was running well in eighth from 16th on the grid.
In the midfield, Aron Smith was coming under increasing pressure from Herron with the 21-year-old Northern Ireland racer eventually getting the better of him a few laps later.

Double podium finisher Hodgetts, said: “I’m really pleased with the two podiums this weekend especially as I’m a little rusty to Clio racing! Phil and Alex were just so quick though meaning I never really got close enough to challenge.”
